Style3D X Jiaxing College: Training clothing digital interdisciplinary talents

Jiaxing University is a "practitioner" walking on the road of fashion design education reform. As early as 2019, Jiaxing University reached a cooperation with Style3D to incorporate 3D research and development system into the fashion design teaching standard syllabus, committed to training clothing digital composite talents and strengthening the characteristics of an application-oriented university in the field of fashion design. On March 1, 2021, the students of the Department of Fashion Design and Engineering of the Design Institute of Jiaxing University had a special costume design course. The whole class did not use a single fabric, and did not go through a single sewing and cutting. All the students sat in front of the computer to complete a garment sample production.

In recent years, with the acceleration of the digitization process of the garment industry, the digital talent of the garment industry has become an urgent need and pain point. As an important base for talent training, colleges and universities are also experiencing a change in fashion design education.
